Video Project -Miku.Sari.Shuta-

Video

Reflection

We made a video which makes people think about their behavior in dairy life. The behavior means that you are likely to judge people around you just by their way of look.

For example, a man, George, in this video has a mental disability and his sister, Rachel, hided him from the society, because she thought he would be her disadvantage. She believes that he would cause negative effects to her.

We decided to make this kind of video because we want to tell you people’s unconscious discrimination occurring every day, so target audience is everyone. People who are discriminated can get benefit from our video, because other people may treat those people more nicely by watching the video, and we believe you will change the way of thinking towards people who have disability. We showed the hidden message by Miku’s action and expression in the video; she acted like general people who must behave like her. She tried to exclude the people such as George. However, we want audience to reflect on behave daily life. Then, we attempt to be conscious of our attitude.

This video is probably going to be shared on Youtube. It depends on people how interpret our video, and we think its content can be fact or opinion. We thought the sources are based on our daily life, because we face many these kinds of situation.
We used some of the techniques and one of the techniques is explaining how this story started with subtitles to make audience understand this story easily.

From the point of the censorship, the people who have a mind like us might censor this video. There are many people who feel something we have to change, especially people having a justice or human moral, in the world. However, we tend to behave like Rachel in the video, because we do really care about how we are seen by people around us, but we have to notice this is wrong. We hope this video have an influence on people’s mind.

Don’t judge the people by the way of look.
