Having friends in the same workplace affects the performance of workers. It is not same as personal friends and Dana Ardi said that to take care of courtesy is important. Sometimes, there are inadmissible things inside of the work even be allowed outside of the office.
Having good friends affect the workers because if they have difficulties about their work or some other worries, it is difficult to consentrate their work but they can solve these problems and can be motivated to work if they have good friends at their office. Also, I have the same opinion as the author, that is a friend in the same workplace is little different from personal friend. People can talk about only personal things with personal friends and sometimes it is hard to talk about own works to them. On the other hands, it can be possible to talk about the work with friends of the same office. They can share the feeling of hardships or pleasure with people who work at the same place.
