On Wednesday, Twitter said the new service called Twitter Alerts that is emergency notification service will be started. It makes it possible for agencies and non-governmental organizations to notify people of natural disasters or times of crisis. Twitter’s users can receive ‘’critical information’’ when they just sign up the service.

I hope that it could work as help to people. These days, many people use SNS such as Twitter and Facebook and those services allow people to get much information. It is good for people but sometimes it is bad for them. There is not only accurate information but also incorrect information on the internet. It may bring about great confusion. For instance, people would be confused if somebody who do not have an authority on earthquake said ‘’A strong earthquake may occur in the near future.’’ and it spread on the internet. However, people can get important and accurate information by this great service.
