Discrimination?

I found an article on CNN.

[Summary] Andrea Agnelli's who is Juventus president said: If you had a passport for one country, you have to be permitted to play football for that country as a player of national team. This argument caused after Roy Hodgson who is England’s national manager showed that he had expected Adnan Januzaj to succeed. Adnan Januzaj was born in Belgium and he is 18 now. He could play for England if he stayed in that country until he is 23. However, one British player disagreed with this.

[Reflection] This article is very interesting for me because football is familiar to me and it is my favorite sport. I think this problem is kind of discrimination. However, I guess Japanese do not concern about racial discrimination because japan do not receive immigrants so much. Anyway, sports and this problem should be considered as different matters. In Japan national football team, some former-foreigners have played football for Japan. Now, Mike Havenaar who has Dutch parents is playing for Japan’s glory. If a player has a feeling to win the game for a particular country, it would not be a problem where he is born.

[Question]
Q1. What do you think about foreigners play a sport for the Japan’s national team?

Q2. Do you think a racial discrimination will be faded away?
