Why Do People Kiss?

I read an interesting news this week.

Why do people kiss? The new research show that one big reason is that size up their future mates. The scientists from Oxford University explored the link between kissing and relationship quality and the differences in value of kissing between men and women. Women tend to think that kissing is important in a relationship but men do not think so.

I heard that there is a race which do not know kissing in other class. I was surprised at that thing. On the other hand, kissing is greeting in some country. So it was interesting for me to know about it. I did not think that kissing is the way to find future husband or wife. It is ashamed to talk about kissing or kiss in front of other people in Japan. That is Japanese culture, but now I know kissing is important for people. It was interesting to notice that there are different meanings of kissing in each country. The cultures show that the characteristics of each country.
